Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer;
Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world,
The blood-dimmed tide is loosed, and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned;
The best lack all conviction, while the worst
Are full of passionate intensity.
This poem by Yeats, written between WW1 and WW2 describes our current situation with uncanny accuracy.
Do you ever wonder what's happening to the world, now?
I do and I'm not optimistic. The Millennials (starting in the early 80s to the early 2000s) are in for some rude realities that they do not understand and that will affect them and their offspring. It is not going to be a pretty picture.
How did we get here? How did the American Dream become a nightmare?
One man, played a major role in the modern march towards anarchy and the destruction of the relatively stable society we have enjoyed since WW2.
The name of that man? Saul Alinsky. My blog has already investigated and elaborated on his role. You should read them If you have never heard of him and his book "Rules for Radicals". You will get a surprise. Particularly when you learn how successful he was in undermining the relatively stable society I grew up in and replacing it with the worsening state of anarchy that exists today and how Obama and his sycophants including Trudeau adhere to his playbook.
Come back here for more.
