Child Abuse - Normalization of abnormality by the liberal government.

Normalizing abnormality.  The devious social engineering of the Liberal government. 

   A short time ago I posted a note on face book regarding the outrageous sex education program for children proposed by the Left Wing Luneys of the provincial government and ultimately implemented by the government of the province.  The man under whose direction the curriculum was written is presently in jail for child pornography and pedophilia related crimes.
   I started talking to folks I know about this flagitious situation and to  my great surprise they had little or no knowledge of this situation at all.  Some looked askance at me, as though I had made the  whole thing up or as if I was some  sort of bigoted chauvinist.  Some knew there was some sort of sexual education in schools, but if I  inquired further, none had really looked into the situation.  As one person who had no idea of the content of the program said, "well I  suppose it is better than nothing, which is what I got."  But no, it isn't, misinformation is more dangerous than no information at all.
  So, let's take a look at the content of the program that our incompetent premier and her lwls think appropriate for our youngsters.

   

   Grade 1- age six: genitalia, naming the penis, vagina etc.  This is okay, though I certainly think it would be more appropriately taught by parents than by strangers whose background and qualifications are frequently questionable for one reason or another.

   Grade 3- age eight: GENDER IDENTITY THEORY.  

This is DEFINITELY not alright.  This is a political agenda supported and put forth by the the premier and those close to her, like the deputy minister of education, Benjamin Levin, now behind bars for child pornography and pedophilia related crimes.  Not quite the sort of curriculum developer for sexual education that most parents would approve of.  The content of the gender identity theory suggests that whether you are male or female is unrelated to your anatomy and is just an imagined "social construct", so you can chose what you want to be. This is a theory for which there is no scientific basis whatsoever. My opinion is that teaching this sort of unsubstantiated theory and the consequences that it gives rise to, is child abuse, an opinion shared by the American Pediatric Society.  As a physician with close to sixty years experience I have no doubt that the treatment some of these children is criminal abuse and I am distress that there are some of my colleagues who are so indoctrinated as to facilitate such pseudoscience.  They truly fall into the category that the great George Bernard Shaw described as "pseudo-scientific simpletons". 

   A Swedish study revealed that ten to fifteen years after sexual reassignment surgery the suicide rate was twenty times that of their peers.

   Grade 6- age eleven, seems designed to encourage masturbation, something for which most folks didn't need much encouragement.

   Grade 7- age twelve.

Devoted to teaching about anal intercourse, oral sex and general sexual pleasures!

   Grade 8- age thirteen.

Children are instructed in making a personal sexual plan.
 There is no discussion of love or marriage.

Child abuse - blame the Doctor!

   One of the latest headlines in my favourite newspaper:  "Doctors zeal to protect children was his undoing".  The story was of a Montreal pediatrician, Dr. Alain Sevard, whose diligence in attempting to protect children from violence resulted in such reaction and criticism, because he was not always right, that he felt his only recourse was suicide.  The story is of a caring pediatrician, with a reputation for  being an expert in child abuse, frequently consulted by emergency departments in cases of suspected child abuse, who became a victim of his own caring because he was not always right.   Consulted in many cases of brutal child abuse, Dr. Sevard always hoped he was making the best decision, but when in doubt suspected the worst and turned over the case to the child welfare services and for this he was demeaned and punished.  That was because on occasion  he was wrong and indignant parents and family were more concerned with their own reputation than with child protection.  They were slighted and they had to have their revenge.  The folks who so fearlessly demand more aggressive pre-emptive action by physicians and child welfare agencies in cases with tragic outcomes, are the first to criticize those who act decisively often to their own  detriment.  Particularly disturbing, is that the Provincial College of Physicians, a body that often hypocritically voices concern over the physical and mental health of excessively stressed physicians ( and I can inform you from personal experience that few physicians are not excessively stressed, unless they work for the government) seem to enjoy participating in the witch hunt.  What message does this send to young physicians?
   Most of the time Dr. Sevard's suspicions were correct, but on occasion they were not. Outraged parents reported to the media that Dr. Sevard had reported them to Child welfare for suspected child abuse, based on the evidence he had observed.  That was precisely what he was supposed to do, if he had grounds to be even suspicious of such circumstances.  That is what he did. But the media make a feast of such situations and once the folks smell blood, they are relentless in their pursuit of he who embarrassed them.  The results of the chase was that the College of Physicians, (who should have known better than to pander to the press's demand for immediate action) and the hospital, which I presume thought doing something would make them  look good, revoked the privileges of the caring doctor and subjected him to calumny and contempt.  The sad epilogue was that the physician, humiliated and depressed, his life's work and his reputation forever sullied by the media, the College and the hospital, took his own life.
  A man who appears to be blameless, was punished mercilessly because in his attempt to protect defenseless  children he had offended some innocent parents.
  The message is clear.  Don't stick your neck out.  Too bad if some children get abused and/or  battered to death.  That's just the way it is in the just society.
  

Gender Identity and child abuse..

   Occasionally sanity peeks out of the trenches sufficiently to be noted by the inmates who have taken over the asylum so long ago that even they are beginning to think they are sane!  Some brave souls have put down their politically correct shields and exposed themselves to the screaming, increasingly dangerous loonies, who in the name of freedom believe that anyone who does not agree with their looney ideas should at least be silenced, but preferably locked up or even executed.  
   The American College of Pediatricians thought the situation sufficiently serious to issue a temporary statement immediately, while they work on the permanent version.  It's introduction reads as follows:

 The American College of Pediatricians urges educators and legislators to reject all policies that condition children to accept as normal a life of chemical and surgical impersonation of the opposite sex. Facts — not ideology — determine reality.

   Gender, is not a state of mind.  It is a hard biological fact determined by an individual's chromosomes, (XXor XY) a scientific fact, that only the scientifically very ignorant can dispute. A life on hormones that supress normal sexual (and in my opinion psychological) development is not a recipe for physical or mental normalcy.  I find it easy to understand how the ignorant idealogues can disregard obvious science in favour of their baseless beliefs, but how did they convince a substantial number of apparently normal people to buy into this?  I can only come to the sad conclusion that there are a lot more stupid people around than I believed.
   It is worth reading the American College of Pediatricians report, which is easily available, to see how these children are being abused - and that is what it is, child abuse. 
   A pity the American Psychiatric Association lacks the balls to come out with a similar sane statement, or would that be too much to ask?

Sick Society.

       When a sports hero, admired by children and adults alike, strikes his wife, as Ray Rice did, he deserves the most severe punishment   He is a  criminal and deserves to be treated like a criminal.  When the punishment meted out to him is trivial and inconsequential it is  sending a message to  the society in general and to the youth in particular that this sort of behaviour is in some way acceptable.  When a significant segment of the public speak out in acceptance of  this and sometimes even protectively, it leaves no doubt that we have a major  decline in social standards.  Violence in America has become an accepted way of life that will prevail until society takes the responsibility to make the consequences fit the crime.
        Another criminal Adrian Peterson was indicted on September 11, 2014, by a Montgomery County, Texas, grand jury on charges of reckless or negligent injury to a child^.  He is accused of beating his four-year-old son repeatedly with a tree branch, causing severe welts and bleeding on the child's back, legs, buttocks, genitals and ankles. In their initial response, the Vikings deactivated Peterson for a single game.    Until these criminals are addressed by the American  justice system and the punishment is made to fit the crime, violence will continue to thrive and youngsters will regard them as role models, instead of what they really are.
